Putting Community First

Warrigal Height Safety

Warrigal Care is a community owned organisation providing services to Australia’s aging population. Safety is a priority in Aged Care and is the perfect alignment for a partner like RISSafety. When it came to the maintenance and certification of their height safety systems roof across their facilities Warrigal Care knew RISSafety would be up for the task given their track record with other Aged Care providers.

“We originally had a different height safety service provider, however they kept letting us down. I hadn’t heard of RISSafety previously so decided to give them a go,” says Warrigal’s Property Services Supervisor, Darrin Collier. RISSafety was commissioned to look after all the maintenance and certification of the Warrigal Care height safety systems for their 10 aged care sites across NSW & ACT. Certification ensures all roof anchor points, static lines, ladders etc meet the requirements of Australian Standards and are installed in accordance with the manufacturer’s installation specifications. All our inspectors undertake our industry leading training program through the RIS Academy whilst undergoing regular professional development to ensure they are on top of trends and changes in height safety equipment and standards.

Yet it is not just our experience and expertise in height safety that sets us apart, it’s our long-term flexible approach with our clients to ensure that they receive the best possible service and feel a valued part of our network. “For me, communication is key and RISSafety goes above and beyond in communication and ensuring I am kept well informed every step of the way,” says Darrin. “Even their height safety technicians who come to site are very good with communication – everyone within the organisation keeps me informed.”

“It is great to work with a company that is very aware of their duties as PCBU’s and understand the importance of height safety services,” says Georgia Thamm, account manager at RISSafety. Even with the expertise of the RISSafety team, it is vital that facility managers know their responsibilities and ensure that safety is at the core of everything that they do.

For Warrigal Care RISSafety is able to offer a range of height safety solutions that are designed for use on a wide range of structures and applications. All height safety solutions have been manufactured to the highest standard and undergone rigorous independent third party testing to ensure they exceed the minimum requirements of Australian Standards.

RISSafety has installed over 30,000 height safety systems, conducted over 100 client safety accreditations, and inspected over 2M assets, so if you are looking for a height safety partner to ensure your buildings are maintained, you’re in the right place. Contact us today!
