SkyCity, Adelaide

SkyCity Auckland

SkyCity AucklandWhen SkyCity in Adelaide needed facade access on the south side of the building, they called in our expert team at RISsafety. Knowing that we can design, manufacture & install a custom height safety system for any requirement, we could deliver the outcome they needed.

The design needed to cater for potential future Building Maintenance Unit (BMU) access as well as glass replacement. RISsafety’s Aluminium StrongRail was the ideal product solution. However, due to the various and numerous radii of the building, we had to engineer and develop a custom mounting bracket. This custom design allowed the different StrongRail curves to be clamped to the structural steel without an issue.

We specialise in bespoke and custom roof safety systems. With our internal design and manufacturing capabilities, we knew we could handle this task. Height safety can be a matter of life or death, so there is no room for risk-taking. You need to trust who you’re working with and this trust comes from extensive experience. After 35 successful years in the height safety business, you can have peace of mind that you have chosen the right height safety partners.

RISsafety’s StrongRail is a fall arrest and suspended access system which provides continuous attachment for the user. Designed with aesthetics in mind, it minimises the visual impact on a building or structure, yet maximises the ability for multiple users to work from the one system simultaneously and without the need to disconnect and reconnect. With the curved nature of the facacde of the SkyCity building, we determined that this was the ideal system to be used.

The great thing about all our systems is that they have been independently tested and certified by third parties to ensure their ongoing safety, durability and reliability. If you are looking for a custom height safety or confined access system for your site, then get in touch with us today.

There’s a particular challenge that comes with working at height in a premium hotel environment. When fire damage compromised the rope… Read More
