The certification process
David Soanes says undergoing certification with Global-Mark included the following stages:
- Initial contact: around 8-10 weeks prior to the audit in order to plan and confirm dates and locations for the multi-site audit.
- A Stage 1 business review of our Environmental Management System to advise on our level of compliance and readiness as we sought to achieve this accreditation for the first time.
- Development of an agreed audit schedule to take place at three of our sites in two states over a six- week period.
- Execution of audits at all three sites while engaging with all staff professionally and providing detailed reviews and feedback to management.
