RISSafety expand into Western Australia

RISSafety is maintaining its position as the nation’s foremost height safety provider with its expansion into the Western Australia market.

Leading this WA charge is Charlie Allen, the company’s newly appointed business development manager for the region. Charlie moved from the UK to Australia in 2015 and has been a WA local ever since.

He was attracted to RISSafety as he saw it as a growing business with a national footprint with a focus on growth. This aligns with his desire to grow with the company as they continue their expansion plans. He also liked the culture of the company.

“They back their employees and give them the best possibility for success,” he says.

With expertise in the construction industry – specifically in the business development aspect of scaffolding – Charlie says he is enjoying learning about all aspects of height safety and confined spaces from experts in the field.

When it comes to compliance there is no one better equipped than RISSafety, he says, including providing expertise and solutions for people working in confined spaces. He says the company’s solutions can save people’s lives, especially in the mining sector.

“RIS is not just needed but plays an important role – it does save lives which is the most important part.”

For now, Charlie is happy he chose to work with RISSafety, where he has been welcomed into the team and is learning about other areas of the business including estimating and operations.

“The business as a whole is probably the best business I’ve worked for. Everyone gets on well and does their job and help others.”

He is also enjoying going out on site and seeing real life applications of RISSafety solutions.

“I’ve been shown around sites where clients have had problems and how we need to change it and make sure it complies. It is easy to sit behind a computer screen but I have a lot of respect for the guys who go on site and do it on site.”

RISSafety’s expansion into Western Australia is a testament to the company’s commitment to safety, quality and growth. With a focus on saving lives and fostering a collaborative work environment, RISSafety continues to stand out as a trusted partner in the height safety industry.
