Safety or fall arrest lanyards are vital pieces of PPE (personal protective equipment) comprised of a length of webbing, rope, or cable to which hardware (hook, carabiner) is attached at both ends. They securely attach the wearer’s harness to a lifeline, anchor, or structure itself and this helps support working position (keeping the hands free) and prevent injury due to falls from height.
